I filled the disk first (ExFAT) by an unpowerd USB/SATA interface and put it into the WD Elements controller and connected it, that didn't work, I had to reformat it through the WD Elements controller on my Mac. (Yep, there are problems using different drives than original with this controller, but the disk works fine with my Macs (since I re-formatted the disk). Has a 200GB ExFAT 5400rpm USB drive connected through WD Elements controller with external power supply. Connected to network by USB WiFi dongle EDIMAX (No LAN ports next to the Pi available…)
